I am trying to build up my itunes and would love to hear what you are listening to.  Love music.  I may not be as good a dancer as Jen but I do love the kind of music that makes you want to dance.  The kind that just makes you happy.

HE is in charge

Today, after Dusty gets off work, we are heading to Seattle.  We planned on getting a hotel for the night because the kids' appointment is at eight o'clock the next morning.  So I tried priceline and it declined my offer (it is getting more expensive to stay in Bellevue - reminder for next time, try higher :)  I waited until last minute to try priceline so I didn't have time to wait to make another offer.  So we looked at getting a couple hotels and it was going to cost us around two hundred bucks.  In the meantime, my mom called and said Jodi wanted us to stay with them.  I called her back and made sure she knew there are SIX of us!!  It is so nice of them and it will be fun to see them even if it is only for a few hours.  It is a blessing.  I am thankful for this reminder, that I need to exercise my faith more.  God will and always does take care of us.  Since we are getting ready to build, I am trying to save where I can and with school starting you can just imagine!  Thank you Lord for reminding me you are in control!!

patiently waiting for....

sydney's class list for school.  there are two new teachers for her grade this year, one of them being a man, she hardly can stand it.

kids' appointment in Seattle on Friday morning.  pray we can get some answers on how to help them feel better.  we have waited a long time for this.

my house to get along so I can start buying/decorating it.  i have a lot to get and look forward to this process.

Any ideas?

I took Colton to a naturopathic doctor for the first time since this really is the only route we haven't tried with him.  They have these treatments that are supposed to help eliminate an allergy.  But in the meantime, the doctor wants me to go off of wheat products.  So I am a little limited in what I can eat.  So my mom and I have been brainstorming things I could eat.  I am also somewhat on limited dairy so it makes it kind of hard to not have to eat the same things over and over.  We went to Costco yesterday and got lots of veggies, some brown rice, sausage, turkey and chicken!!  I already had some fruit at home.  So my mom came up with the idea of having a little bit of yogurt and fruit topped with these yummy toffee glazed almonds for breakfast.  Sounds good to me :)  I am having a lot of salads which is great and I love, so it really is not that bad except for breakfast time and snacks (especially sweets).  It was really interesting talking to her about nutrition though.  She brought up a lot of things I would not have thought about.  Thanks mom again for going with me and Sam and Jen for helping out with my kids.  I know they must have thought I went somewhere else too because our appointment was almost three hours long!  Hopefully we won't see a difference in Colton because that will really stink if he is allergic to wheat.  Just a little prayer request.... 

My baby girl is three!!

Ok.  Can't get over the fact that my youngest daughter is now three.  It does not seem possible.  I feel like my kids are really getting old!  Does anyone else feel this way? 

I have been meaning to share pictures from Audrey's third birthday for a while now :)  My sister, Jen, gave me good advice.  Quit waiting for the perfect opportunity to "catch up" on everything and just post about what you can NOW.  Makes sense right?  Maybe that is why I have posted twice in the last two months?!  Is that a hint Jen??

the start of a new week

Lots happened this last week and weekend including turning in my house plans for permits, boating trip, audrey's birthday party, trip to the doctor for Colton (who has an infection on the skin of his face), my mom rearranging/organizing my desk area (I absolutely LOVE it), my suburban being hit a second time now on the bumper and a start on school shopping.  I am sure I left some things out but have very little time before I am off to take Sydney to drama camp and Gracie to swim lessons.  I will fill you in on the stories later.....
