A shopping we will go...

a shopping we will go!  Well, it is about six thirty and my house is quiet.  I thought I would pop on here and say a quick goodbye before I finish getting last minute things put together.  I got almost everything done last night but I have a few things to do still.  My parents are going to come around eight thirty to pick us up, then Dusty will come down when he gets off, hopefully early :)  It was quite easy to pack since I did not have to do ONE load of laundry.  My SWEET, AWESOME mother-in-law did all of my laundry for me.  Wow!  That was a huge blessing.  Thanks again Doris.  She also came by and said goodbye to the girls and brought them some spending money.  They can't wait to go shopping now either!  Hopefully we will get a lot of good pictures and spend a lot of time on the beach.  We will take lots of pictures, we promise!!!

I'm so excited

that I just can't hide it.  I don't know why but I had that song stuck in my head.  It actually makes me think of my sister Jen whenever that happens, not sure why but it does. 

I am so excited for vacation.  I love the ocean and the beach.  This year Audrey is a little bigger so I am hoping it will be a little easier.  You know when kids are too little they don't like the sand.  I hate it because you are trying to get pictures and they do not cooperate.  We only have six steps onto the beach right in front of our house so I am praying we have great weather so that we can be on the beach alot.  I told my girls we would build sand castles, etc.  One of my favorite things other than the outlet malls is the ocean.  I usually am one of the first up besides my parents and love to get something warm to drink and watch the ocean.  It is so peaceful that time of morning.  Plus being there for the fourth of July is a blast.  Sydney and Gracie will love it this year, Audrey on the other hand will be in bed, sleeping through them hopefully.  So on my to do list today is Costco and Walmart, drop the car off to have new tires put on, finish cleaning up my house and type.  I am actually feeling alot better about getting ready for vacation since Gracie is all better from her little bug and I am feeling a little better too.  So keep us in your prayers that we can all stay healthy between now and the end of vacation!!  Off I go...

Sick little ones

is never any fun, for anyone.  But I really pray that they hurry and get over it because we are leaving for vacation in four days!  Plus I have a ton to do and with the kids being sick there is little chance I will get ANYthing done.  Oh and it is so sad to see your kids sick.  You feel helpless and you would love to help them feel better.  Anyways, so needless to say I am just hanging out with kids all over me.    :o)

Don't forget me

Nana had invited Sydney to spend the night last night and she was upstairs busy packing.  Before I know it, here comes Sydney down the stairs with her suitcase, etc and Gracie right behind her with TWO suitcases, a sleeping bag and her pillow.  She kept saying I am going to nana's too!  So I tried to break it to her easy but that didn't work.  So Nana got here and said she could spend the night, which meant she would have four little ones last night :)  I was helping my mom get everything in the car and decided I better take a peek at what Gracie had packed because she truly packed it herself.  I about died when I looked.  She had a pair of shoes, a goodnight prayer book, a pair of shorts and shirt and a dirty pajama shirt!  It was this huge suitcase for only five little things.  Then in the other suitcase she had three bunnies, yep and that was it!  She is so funny.  So needless to say I ran upstairs and grabbed some clean jammies.  Well today I have a lot to do because we are having another yard sale at Sam's this weekend and I have not been feeling well at all!  I have not gotten anything done and we have vacation just around the corner too.  So I better get going... 

Yes, I am still here

Hard to believe I know.  I have missed blogging so much!  I have been so busy and I am sure all of you know with what.  So the rest of this week will be getting caught up on rest, which is very hard to do with three little ones!!  I was so tired today and I was watching Dawson and Abby while my mom got her hair done.  I felt like I was going to fall asleep so I had to get up and move around.  I was afraid I would fall asleep and when I am out, I AM OUT!  So I didn't get a nap today but maybe tomorrow!  I have been typing full-time (at least six hours a day) and so I am trying to come up with a schedule that will work well for me and my family. 

I loved getting to see Keith, Chrisanna, Keanna, Jake and Brady the past few days!  They were so much fun!  We will all be together in a little over a week and we will be at the BEACH!  YEAH!!  I can't wait for vacation.  I am soooo looking forward to it!

Well, we are having a......

BOYBOYBOYBOYBOYBOYBOYBOYBOYBOY!!  I can't even believe it.  We are still totally in shock.  This will change our world a bit!  We don't even have a little blanket or towel this poor little guy can use.  Everything we have is either pink, purple or too girly looking.  That's okay, it is going to be soo much fun to get new boy stuff.  Very different for me that's for sure.  Well, I just needed to share and I will have to write more later.  I have been REALLY busy at work lately and too tired in the evening to blog.  So more later....I promise.

Off to an early start

Gracie came into our room at 5:56 this morning.  The funny thing was that I had woke up a few minutes before that and so I just got up with her.  That is amazing for me!!  I figured I could get some work done and spend a few of those precious moments with her early in the morning all by ourselves.  We are going to a thing called the Festival of Flowers today.  It should be fun.  They have things to do for the kids there too so we are going to take Kiki and Sydney and maybe Abby too.  Then later on I found out about this girl that can get us scrapbook stuff at a cheaper price so Jen and I are going to go there later!  Hopefully we will have some money by the end of the day :)

We also got Audrey a bike helmet and new shoes last night. She wanted to put them both on right away when we got home and I had to share some pictures.  It was the funniest thing ever.  She is so small (especially short) that when we put it on her and she walked away from me, her head looked absolutely HUGE!  Sydney really laughed hard, so hard that she cried.  Here are a few of those pics......

Almost there

Today is Sydney's last FULL day of the second grade.  It is Fun Day at their school and basically they play outside all day long.  They have sno cones, play on the big jumpers, get sprayed by the fire department, have a bbq, dunk tank, slip n slides, you name it they are doing it.  So I am getting very excited for the summer and not having to wake up early every morning.  I know little miss Audrey and Gracie probably won't let me sleep in but at least there is the option in case they decide to!!  I can't believe though that Sydney is going to be in third grade!  Time just flew by this year.

I have not done any scrappin lately.  I am just trying to get through my yard sale stuff so I am not up until midnight the night before.  I can't believe how long it takes to get it all ready.  So after this week hopefully I can get some more "fun" things done.  Like changing my banner, scrapping and cleaning out my little scrap area!  I am off to get showered and run to Sydney's school to volunteer :)  Have a great Tuesday!!

Sweet ride

Dusty took the girls for a bike ride with the bike trailer.  Sydney rode her own bicycle and Gracie and Audrey were in the trailer.  It was soo cute.  Audrey has this new laugh that I cannot describe, other than a major belly laugh, that she does a lot lately.  So as soon as she got in she started laughing.  I could hear her laughing the entire time down the road as they were leaving.  How sweet.  They are in the bath now and I am on my way out the door to get some fresh baked cookies Jen made me!  YUM!!  I will be pricing for the rest of the night for the yard sale.  We actually have gotten a lot accomplished.  We got yard sale stuff done, went to the park and had a picnic dinner and took the girls on a bike ride.  Now they are all sweet in their jammies just out of the bath.  Better go get those cookies!!

Some things to do

I'm here.  It has been awhile.  Well, first I have a RAK to send out today.  I was going to mail it but since I took so long, I am just going to drop it off.  Then we must get started on yard sale stuff.  Major pricing to do.  I also hope in the midst of all that I can get my storage room somewhat organized.  Then I would have a place to scrap and I can start scrappin!!  I have been so inspired by Jen to get started but I need a place to do it.  I have the perfect area to be able to scrap and leave it out if I need to.  So hopefully today is productive :)  Dusty and the girls left to get Starbucks and donuts.  Our inspiration (motivation) to get started on yard sale stuff. 

Sydney had gotten Gracie dressed to match her and so I had to post a picture even though it's not the greatest......
